Kenneth Ray Pleasant

Mr. Kenneth Ray Pleasant, 62, of Madisonville, KY died at 8:00 A.M. Thursday, February 15, 2007, at the Veterans Hospital in Marion, IL. \ Born January 9, 1945 in Hopkins Co., KY. He was the son of the late Edgar Hall Pleasant and Susie Anna Vandiver Pleasant. \ Mr. Pleasant was a self employed painter and a member of the American Legion Post # 6. \ Surviving are his wife, Linda Bearden Pleasant; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Ricky Fairrow of Madisonville and Sherry and Dewey Conrad of Evansville, IN; one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Teresa Pleasant of Madisonville; one sister, Betty Gordon of Madisonville; two brothers, Travis Pleasant and James Pleasant, both of Madisonville; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Mr. Donald W. Meeks officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. \ Pallbearers will be James Brasher, Dale Brasher, Kenneth Pleasant, Donald Todd, Kenny Bearden and John Bearden. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 8:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. \ Military graveside services will be conducted by American Legion Post # 6, VFW Post # 5480 and American Legion Post # 2. \
