Lawonda June Riley Obituary (1931 - 2015)

Lawonda June Riley, 83, of Nortonville, KY passed away, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mrs. Riley was born July 30, 1931 in Nortonville, KY, to the late Jewell Long Nevel Thomas Long. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Herschel Ross Brasher and second husband, Robert Thomas Riley; son, David Manuel Brasher; brothers, Lenard Austin Long and William Brasher Long; sister, Gloria Dean Long and a great great grandson, Keegan McCalister. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Clarence) Hankins of Nortonville, and her sons Dennis L. (Wetonia) Brasher of Madisonville, Ronnie (Gladys) Brasher of Nortonville, Doyal (Quenell) Brasher of St. Charles, Ky. one sister Cheryl (Buddy) Adkins of Hopkinsville, one brother Jerry (Patsy) Long of Fruit Hill, Ky; 21 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday May 14, 2015 at Barnett Strother Funeral Home, with Russell Kline officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday and from noon until service time on Thursday.
