Linda Sue Johnson

Mrs. Linda Sue Johnson, 59, of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away at 7:42 A.M., Friday, May 1, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ She was born November 7, 1949 in Detroit, MI to the late William Alt Middleton and Goldie Juanita Francis. She was preceded in death by one brother, Darrel Francis. \ Mrs. Johnson worked for IAC of Madisonville as a line worker. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the Women of the Moose at Taylor, Chapter #992 and VFW Auxiliary Post #5484 of Providence. \ She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James G. Johnson, Sr. of Madisonville; two daughters, Carolyn (James) Michalak of Taylor, MI and Theresa Johnson of Inkster, MI; two sons, James Gleason (Andrea) Johnson, Jr. of Inkster, MI and Craig Johnson of Taylor, MI; three sisters, Joyce (Bill) Nielsen of Woodhaven, MI, Delores (Ramiro) Ureste of Allen Park, MI and Trudy Walker of Lima, OH; three brothers, William (Cheryl) Middleton of Pueblo West, CO, Richard (Sandy) Middleton of Warren, MI and Willie (Dorothy) Middleton of Madisonville; one sister-in-law, Patricia Francis of Wheatland, WY; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Todd King officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, MI. \ Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Voran Funeral Home in Dearborn, MI. \ Visitation from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the service at Voran Funeral Home. \ Memorial Contributions may take the form of donation to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
