Lori Elaine Scott Martin

Lori Elaine Martin, 57, of Madisonville passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Martin was born January 1, 1959 in Madisonville to Joan Cates Scott and the late Robert C. Scott.
She enjoyed decorating, gardening, entertaining and giving parties, and she loved to spend time with her family.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Mark Martin; two sons, Matthew Scott (Amy Jo) Martin of Owensboro, KY and Derek Wayne (Aubri) Martin of Madisonville; two sisters, Susan Carol (Richard) Mitchell of Madisonville and Patty Lynn Scott of Clay, KY; two brothers, Richard Alan (Vicki) Scott of Newburg, IN and Robert T. Scott of Providence, KY; four grandchildren, Zackary Martin, Madalyn Martin, Christian Honeycutt, and Maccoy Martin; several nieces and nephews plus several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Price officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay, KY.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and 12:00 P.M. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Martin, Paul Martin, Richard Mitchell, Greg Legate, Gary Williams, and Wade Williams.
