Marguerite Williams

Marguerite C. Williams, 93 of Harpers Ferry, WV, formerly of Madisonville, KY, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Shenandoah Center in Charlestown, WV.
She was born on September 20, 1924 in Union County, KY to the late Henry Hoskins and Minnie Hedgepath Hoskins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Williams; one daughter, Linda Gale Jones; and two sons, Curtis Eugene Williams and Jerry Wayne Williams; three brothers, Thomas A. 'Tommy' Hoskins, Henry S. 'Jr' Hoskins Jr and Herman Ray 'buddy' Hoskins and her step mother, Mable Hoskins.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker, but early in life she worked at the Parachute Factory and later the Enro Shirt Factory. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sherry Williams of Harpers Ferry, WV; son in law, Kenneth Jones of Nebo; four sisters, Madene Morgan of Madisonville, Evelyn (Calvin) Walker of Madisonville, Faye (Butch) Williams of Henderson, KY, and Ann (Jerry) Schisler of Cadiz, KY; one brother, Jimmy Hoskins of Umatilla, FL; seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip McCoy officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kosair Children's Hospital. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
