Mary E. Davis

Mrs. Mary E. Davis, 96, of Barnsley, KY died at 6:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at her home. \ Born April 13, 1909 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late George Thomas Sadler and Mary Caroline Brewer Sadler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Davis; one son, Samuel Davis, one grandson, Paul Davis; five sisters and one brother. \ She was a homemaker and a member of the Earlington First Christian Church. \ She is survived by one daughter, Jo Ann Belken of Brownstown, MI; one son, Gene Lloyd Davis of Elizabethtown, KY; three sisters, Virginia Wagner of Lincoln Park, MI, Kathleen Baker of Elizabethtown and Dorothy Josey of Madisonville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.] \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Morse officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday and on Friday from Noon until the services. \
