Mary Jane Edwards

Mrs. Mary Jane Edwards, 52, of Hanson, KY died at 12:33 P.M. Saturday, January 28, 2006 at her home. \ Born February 5, 1953 in Madisonville, KY she was the daughter of the late Albert Givens Griffin Jr. and Marcella Williams Griffin. She was also preceded in death by one son, Mark David Edwards. \ She was employed by 911 Billing and was a member of the Madisonville First United Methodist Church. \ She is survived by her husband, Anthony G. Edwards of Hanson; three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Edwards of San Diego, CA, Amy Wickham of Columbus, OH and Kelly Gibson of Nashville, TN; one sister, Jo Ann Smith of Mortons Gap, KY and one grandson, Jackson Wickham. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in the East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson. \ Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 12 Noon until the service at the funeral home. \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness or the Green River Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
