Michael Lee Baldwin, 57, of Hanson, KY, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at his residence. \ \ He was born May 22, 1956 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late James Deo Baldwin and Helen Lorene Wiley Baldwin. \ \ Mr. Baldwin was a member of the Providence Rural United Methodist Church. He worked for Andalex Coal for over 18 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, repairing small engines and boat motors. He also enjoyed talking about the old times, fishing with his grandsons, listening to bible cds and he loved to help other people. \ \ He is survived by one daughter, Laura (P.T.) Terry of Madisonville; one son, Scott (Veronica) Baldwin of Madisonville; four sisters, Wanda Bryant of Dalton, KY; Margaret (Bill) Melton of Morrow, GA; Louise (David) Brooks of Slaughters, KY and Deborah (Larry) Lewis of Hanson; six brothers, Harry Thomas (Mary Anna) Baldwin of Slaughters; James 'Buck' (Hattie) Baldwin of Hanson; Ronnie (Judy) Baldwin of Hanson; David (Beverly) Baldwin of Hanson; Roy Baldwin of Muhlenberg Co., KY and Danny (Marty) Baldwin of Hanson; three grandsons, Hayden Terry; Logan Terry and Deacon Baldwin and several nieces and nephews. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 9, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Carden and Rev. Ken Hundley officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. \ \ Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2013 and after 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Monday at the funeral home. \ \ Memorial Donation may take the form of donations to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
