Michael Wayne Carter

Mr. Michael Wayne Carter, 28, of Hanson, KY passed away at 10:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Dotiki Mines in Nebo, KY. \ He was born August 23, 1981 in Hopkins Co., KY to Curtis Lynn and Sharon Ezell Carter of Hanson. \ Michael was a member of the Unity in Christ Worship Center in Madisonville. He was a loving husband, father, son and a dear friend to many. \ In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Carter of Hanson; one son, Hayden Wayne Carter of Hanson; great-grandfather, W.L. Carter of Manitou and mother and father-in-law, Tim and Denise Dunn of Slaughters. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 2, 2010, at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Manning officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Manitou. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday and 11:00 A.M. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Ray Tapp, Lucian Burns, Jason Chandler, Tim Dunn, Jr., Micah Dunn and Jason Daugherty.
