Michael Fleming

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael (Mike) Glen Fleming, who left this world peacefully on October 22, 2024, at the age of 70 surrounded by friends and family.

Born on September 14th, 1954, in Paris, TX, Mike is lovingly remembered by his wife, Nancy Fleming; his daughter, Angela Fleming of Rawlins, WY; and son and daughter-in-law, Jon Michael and Eleni Fleming of Wentzville, MO, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Kristina Stacy, Isaac Angeloff, Jeremiah “JJ” and Wyatt Fleming. Mike also leaves behind his stepchildren, Andrea (Cliff) Nance of Madisonville, KY and Mandy (David) Brown of Rock Island, IL and their children Evan, Jonathan, Sophia, and Claire. He is survived by his dear sisters, Denise (David) Bell of Paris, TX and Sherry Shrum of Houston, TX.

Mike was a dedicated minister for the United Pentecostal Church for over forty years, where he devoted his life to nurturing and serving others. His unwavering faith and commitment to service were evident in every aspect of his life. Those who knew Mike recognized his profound passion for helping his community and those in need through volunteering and advocating for the less fortunate. His legacy of compassion and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

Mike's laughter, wisdom, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his ministry and personal life. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at Lone Star Pentecostal Church, 2821 Anton Rd., Madisonville, KY. Visitation and service will all be held in the Family Life Center with lunch to follow. To honor his extraordinary legacy, his family invites you to visitation between 10 and 11 am; service time will begin at 11am followed by a meal with special memories shared by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Mike's name to Mercy Missions of Madisonville to continue his mission of helping others.
