Michael Gunn

Michael Lynn Gunn born January 1, 1947, to the late William "Jocky" Gunn and Nancy Gunn died November 25, 2024, at his home in Providence, KY. He was preceded in death by Brother Paul Gunn and daughter Monica Gunn.
He is survived by son Josh (Mandi) Gunn, Valerie (Troy) Goodaker, brother Tommy (Judy) Gunn, Brother Joe (Michelle) Gunn, SIL Debbie Gunn, 5 grandchildren Austin Goodaker, Ryan Burns, Victoria Goodaker, Sylas Gunn, Isabella Gunn, two great grandchildren Hudson Goodaker, Mazilyn Barnett, and many cousin, nephews and nieces.
Mike loved music and dancing. He could play any instrument he picked up. Horses and "Cowboying" was also another love and he enjoyed the time spent doing those activities.
Mike spent the majority of his work life as a coal miner for Peabody Coal Mines.
A spreading of the ashes ceremony will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers Mike would have wanted donations sent to Pennyrile Horse trailhead maintenance c/o Tommy Gunn 1550 Sixth vein Rd Dawson Springs, KY 42408.
