Minnie L. Gunn

Mrs. Minnie Gunn, 91, of Nebo, KY died at 10:05 A.M. Friday, April 14, 2006 at the NHC Healthcare in Madisonville. \ Born July 27, 1914 in Christian County, KY she was the daughter of the late George Robert Bowers and Bertha Mae Tucker Bowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel L. Mutt Gunn on April 10, 1998, two sisters, Jenny Lou Buchanan and Eula Shelton, one brother, Hewlett Bowers, two sons, Franklin D. Ezell and Arthur E. Ezell and one great grandson, Shawn Johnson. \ She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. \ She is survived by Mrs. Mike Donna Groves of Slaughters, Mrs. Carroll Sheila Wiles of Clarksville, TN, Mrs. B.W. Libby Butler of Manitou, KY and Mrs. William Clara Johnson of Stevenson, MI. Mrs. Larry Nancy Livers of Pueblo, CO, Gregory Ezell of Jeffersonville, IN; ;twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Tim Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the service at the church \ Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to The Madisonville Ward, LDS Family History Center, c/o Betty Cox, 85 Heather Hill Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431.
