Naomi Love Knox

Naomi Love Knox, 89, of Madisonville, KY passed away, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Bethel Gardens Assisted Living Center in Powder Springs, GA.
She was born November 8, 1928 in Providence, KY to the late Aubrey Cates and Mary Elizabeth Hillard Cates. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Joseph Knox; three brothers, Douglas Cates, Ruby Cates and William Cates; and one sister, Rosetta Crask.
Naomi attended business school, had been an Avon lady and had fun with her club lady friends. Naomi enjoyed traveling with her husband to American Legion conventions. After her retirement from Bayer/Nunc she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by three children; Kathy (Curtis) Reidy of Powder Springs, GA; Daniel Knox (Patti) of Salem, IN; Pamela Morris (Bill) of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Celesta Lou Krietzer of Evansville, IN and Sharon Harris of Madisonville; eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Nebo Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
