Nellie Mae Gibson, 87, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville. \ She was born April 24, 1926 in Barnsley, KY to the late Robert Hartline and Mae Gibbons Hartline. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Finis Jewel Gibson; three sisters and three brothers. \ Mrs. Gibson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville. She was a sales representative for Baker and Hickman Family Shoe Store and JC Penney's. \ She is survived by one daughter, Vickie (Rob) Robertson of White Bluff, TN; one son, Rodney Gibson of Madisonville; two grandchildren, Buddy Cox of White Bluff, TN and Ben Cox of Maryville, TN; and four great grandchildren, Nick Cox, Luke Cox, Katie Cox and Tyler W. Cox. \ Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday and after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. \ Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Shriners. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
