Nellie Christine Messamore

Mrs. Nellie Christine Messamore, 75, of Madisonville, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at her residence. \ She was born July 7, 1935 in Springfield, TN to the late John Wesley Wooten and Susie Ella Norris Wooten. \ Mrs. Messamore was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church in Madisonville. \ She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles William Messamore, Sr. of Madisonville; four daughters, Carolyn Darrow; Gail Huddleston; Betty Frashure and Crystal Payne; one son, Charles Wayne Messamore; one sister, Susie Ann Darrow; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Christian Tabernacle Church in Madisonville with Rev. Bud Tingle officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the Christian Tabernacle Church in Madisonville. \ Pallbearers will be Frankie Frashure, Eric Darrow, Gene Darrow, Jerry Huddleston, Jeremy Huddleston and Scott Alkire. \ Memorial donations may be made to the Christian Tabernacle Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
