Norma Jean Gatlin

\ Mrs. Norma Jean Gatlin, 65, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Baptist Healthcare in Madisonville. \ \ She was born February 18, 1948 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Irvin Cates and Donia Hawkins. \ \ Mrs. Gatlin was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends, and she loved her dog, Molly. \ \ She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard; two sons, Richard Gatlin Jr. of Madisonville and Jeff (Heather) Gatlin of White Plains, KY; three sisters, Gail Galloway of Mortons Gap, KY, Evelyn Rickard of Madisonville, and Etta Williams of Hanson, KY; two granddaughters, Maryssa Brooke Gatlin and Ashley Nicole Miller; and one great granddaughter, Nevaeh Grace Miller. \ \ Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Rolley officiating. Burial will follow at Grapevine Cemetery. \ \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 9:30 A.M. until the service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home. \ \
