Norma Jean Haley

Norma Jean Haley, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
Norma was born on February 7th, 1942 in Louisville, KY to the late John Alfred Lane Sr. and Mary Frances Gilpin Lane. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Haley; five brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church in Madisonville; she was in the first integrated class at Louisville Male High School, was a CIA for Hopkins County Schools, Pride Avenue and West Hopkins and loved spoiling her grandchildren.
Mrs. Haley is survived by one daughter, Mary (Jeff) King of Madisonville; three grandchildren, David King and his Fianc, Courtney, Sarah King and Luke King all of Madisonville and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M Thursday March 9, 2017 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Mausoleum in Madisonville with Chaplin Bill McCann officiating. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
