Pamela Janine \Jan\"" Moore Obituary (1944 - 2012)

\ Pamela Janine Jan Moore, 67, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her residence in Madisonville. \ \ She was born October 4, 1944 in Murray, KY to the late Charles W. Jenkins and Rella Gibbs Jenkins. \ \ Jan was the head of the Special-Education Dept., drama coach, annual staff sponsor and English teacher at North Hopkins for 21 years. \ \ She is survived by her caretaker and husband of 35 years, Wesley Kim Moore of Madisonville; one brother, Charles Warren Jenkins II; father-in-law, George Albert Moore and mother-in-law, Thelma J. Moore both of Madisonville; nephew, George Albert Moore, III in the US Navy serving in Japan; nieces, Shalyn A. Jenkins of Madisonville; Kadra A. Jenkins of Madisonville; Kaitlyn Dianne Moore of California, MD.; Margaret Suzanne Moore of Hastings on Hudson, NY and assistant caregiver for the last four years, Wayne Garvin. \ \ Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 12:00 P.M. until the service time on Thursday at the funeral home. \ \ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ \ Pallbearers will be Tommy Shaw, Charles Warren Jenkins II, George Albert Moore II, Scott Jerome Moore and Wayne Garvin. \ \
