Lieutenant Paul Wayne Johnson

Lt. Paul Wayne Johnson, 39, of Madisonville, KY died at 2:35 A.M. Thursday at his residence. \ He was born October 6, 1967 in Salem, Kentucky to the late Wilber Wayne Johnson. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Theresa Head in July 2005 and Kathy Thomas in March 2005. \ He was a Lieutenant Shift Commander for the Madisonville Police Department which he joined in July 1990. He was a member and former deacon of the First Baptist Church. He was a 1985 graduate of Madisonville-North Hopkins High School and graduated from Murray State University in 1989 with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. \ He is survived by his wife, Tammy Johnson of Madisonville; one daughter, Faith Aaron Johnson of Madisonville; one son, Nathan Wayne Johnson of Madisonville; his mother, Patricia Johnson Jones of Madisonville and one sister, Lisa Benton of Owensboro, KY. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 14, 2006 at the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be from the Madisonville Police Department and member of the Law Enforcement Community. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
