Robert \Mac\"" McCalister

Mr. Robert Mac McCalister, 81, of Madisonville, KY, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 9:06 P.M., at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born June 23, 1925, in Caldwell County, KY, he was the son of the late Robert and Inez Newton McCalister. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Adams McCalister. \ He retired from First United Bank in Madisonville, was a member of Grapevine Missionary Baptist Church where he was a past deacon and treasurer and was a Navy W.W.II veteran. \ Mr. McCalister is survived by three sons, Billy Ray McCalister of Lexington, KY, Mike McCalister and Barry McCalister, both of Madisonville; one sister, Irene Allen of Princeton, KY; two brothers, Edward McCalister of Cleveland, OH, and Carroll McCalister of Princeton; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Friday, June 1, 2007, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bros. Hughlan Richey and Jerry Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Pallbearers will be Billy Ray McCalister, Mike McCalister, Barry McCalister, Adams McCalister, Parker McCalister and Dylan McCalister. Ann-Michael McCalister will serve as an honorary pallbearer. \ Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2007, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from noon until the service time on Friday at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Grapevine Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice. \ Online condolences may be made at www.barnettstrother.com. \
