Robert M. \Bob\"" Oliver Obituary (1919 - 2004)

Mr. Robert M. Bob Oliver, 84, of Madisonville, KY, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at 9:00 A.M. at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born December 2, 1919 in Madisonville, KY he was the son of the late James Oliver and Mary Arnold Oliver. \ He was the former owner and operator of Oliver Standard Service Station. He was a WW II U.S. Army Air Corp veteran and was a member of the V.F.W. Post #5480 and the American Legion Post#6. \ He is survived by his wife; Martha Lorene Brown Oliver of Madisonville; one daughter; Suzanne Oliver Luckett of Washington, IN; one son, Michael M. Oliver of Seymour, IN; two sisters, Juanita Hurst of Madisonville and Katherine Stiles of Dawson Springs, KY; one brother, James Oliver of Cadiz, KY; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 15, 2004 with Bro. Bobby Alvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites by the VFW Post #5480, the American Legion Post#6 and the Earlington American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the service at the funeral home. \ \
