Robert M. \Bob\"" Traylor

Mr. Robert M. Bob Traylor, 70, of Madisonville, KY, died at 8:15 P.M., Monday, August 22, 2005, at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born January 20, 1935 in Princeton, KY, he was the son of the late Robert Emory Traylor and Gladys Clayton Traylor. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jeanetta Rodgers Traylor,December 26,1999, one son, William Hoy Traylor in 1960, one brother,Buddy Traylor and one granddaughter, Katie Phebus. \ He retired from Island Creek Providence #1 Mine after 33 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was a US Marine Corp Veteran. He was also a member of the UMWA Local #1623,District #12 and a Judge Advocate of the American Legion Post #6. \ He is survived by three daughters; Carol Jane Phebus of Hanson, KY, Judy Comstock of Louisville, KY and Jennifer Whitfield of Hopkinsville, KY and five grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Thursday, August 25, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Don Davis officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Military Graveside rites by VFW Post#5480 and American Legion Post#6. \ Pallbearers will be Tony Phebus, Tim Comstock, Jacob Comstock, Rob Whitfield, Steve James, Tony Traylor, Gary Willard and Gary Travis. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the 40/8 and Jim Kurtlick, Ellis Traylor, Amon Morris, Adolph Mayhew, James Traylor, Tom Rodgers and Billie Lewis. \ Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2005, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday until the service time at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to you preferred charity. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home \
