Rosie Johnson

Rosie W. Johnson, 90, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Hillside Nursing Rehab in Madisonville.
She was born on August 26, 1934 in Pike County, KY to the late Charlie Hill and Edith Adkins Hill. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Faye Johnson; two brothers; and two sisters.
Rosie was a homemaker. She was a member of The Church of God where she was a Sunday School teacher for years. She loved puzzles and quilting. She loved raising her children and was a wonderful wife, mom, and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Lonnie W. Johnson; sons, Steve Johnson of Anton, KY, Randall (Karen) Johnson of Madisonville, and Robert (Ginger) Johnson of Calhoun, KY, and Gary “Paul” Johnson of Franklin, KY; along with ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 6, 2024 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Farthing officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
