Ruby Davis Brooks

Mrs. Ruby Davis Brooks, 94, of Earlington, KY passed away at 8:20 P.M., Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home. \ She was born July 14, 1915 in Hopkins County, KY to the late William Mariam and Margaret Dane Davis. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Clyde Brooks; one son, William Frederick Brooks; three sisters and four brothers. \ Mrs. Brooks was a member of First Baptist Church in Earlington. \ She is survived by her caregiver, Teresa Reid of Earlington; several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Hughlan P. Richey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from Noon until the service time on Sunday at the funeral home. \
