Ruth A. France

Ruth Alene France, 91, of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Baptist Health.
She was born December 6, 1927 in McLean Co., KY to the late Oscar Richard and Agnes Breedlove Rickard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Ray France; one daughter, Patsy France Trice; and one sister, Leeoma Gilland.
She attended the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. She worked with Danny and Shirley Strader visiting area nursing homes for over 22 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Kaye (Keith) Mullis of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Joel David (Marie) France of Paducah, KY and James (Johnna) France of Princeton, KY; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Hendricks, Bro. Robbie Knox, and Bro. Danny Strader officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Egbert, Larry France, Randy France, Josh Johnson, Lindsey France, and Justin France.
