Sara Catherine White Knight

Mrs. Sara Catherine White Knight, 86, of Madisonville, KY died at 4:10 P.M. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born July 27, 1922 in Caldwell County, KY she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Knight, her parents W.W. White and Bonnie Mae Hopkins White, and Rowena Paris White. She was also preceded by one granddaughter, Jennifer Knight. \ She was a Member of the First United Methodist Church of Madisonville. \ She is survived by her three sons, Bill (Louise) Knight of Mayfield, KY, Jim Knight of Chicago, IL, and Steve (Paula) Knight of Olean, NY; three sisters, Winnie Childress of Madisonville, Martha Sue Poff of Florida and Rosie Buis of Liberty, KY; four grandchildren, Gregg Knight of Mayfield, Jim Knight of Chicago, Meghan Knight of California, and Dan Knight of New York; two great grandchildren, Maddie and Sophie Knight of Chicago. Also Special friends, Bob and Mike Gordon of Madisonville \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday September 2, 2008 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Weyman McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. \ Pallbearers will be Jim Knight, Mike Buis, David Knight, Barry Riggs, Neil Riggs, Randy Riggs, and John David Todd. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dan Knight, Lonnie Eddleman, Mike Gordon, Rae Ann Gill, James Riggs, and Jim Whitledge. \ Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and after 9:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. \ In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
