Sarah Lou Kelley

Sarah Lou Kelley, 87 of Mortons Gap, KY passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her residence in Mortons Gap.
Mrs. Kelley was born January 11, 1928 in Mortons Gap, KY to the late Verner Green and Elsie Prince Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Choice Kelley; two sisters, Judy Gossett and Joella Hancock; one great granddaughter, Leighanna Hancock; and one step-son, David Kelley.
Mrs. Kelley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mortons Gap. She was an avid UK fan as well as the St. Louis Cardinals.
She is survived by one son, James C. (Martha) Kelley of S. Milwaukee, WI; three daughters, Rhoda Poole of Mortons Gap, Elsie Hancock of Mortons Gap and Mary Lou Gamblin of Mortons Gap; a daughter-in-law, Norma Kelley of St. Louis, MO; a brother, James T. (Bessie) Green of Salem, KY; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Mr. Ronnie Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
