Shelby Crawford

Shelby Jean Crawford, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville.
Ms. Crawford was born September 16, 1936 in Madisonville to the late Wesley Hawkins and Mary McKinsey Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Euvena Ferrell; one daughter, Mary Jen Crawford; and one granddaughter, Shelby Alexandria Crawford.
Ms. Crawford worked in human resources at Warrior Coal. She was a member of the Professional Business Women's Association. She attended First Presbyterian Church. She was an avid UK fan. She loved her family and enjoyed attending her grand kid's events.
She is survived by one daughter, Aimee Goodwin of Madisonville; two sons, Monty (Angie) Crawford of Madisonville and Shane Crawford of Madisonville; two sisters, Peggy Troop of Madisonville and Shelly Durham of Ormond Beach, FL; one brother, Donald "Whitey" Hawkins" of Madisonville; seven grandchildren, Jeana Crawford, Julie Crawford, Corey Goodwin, Leah Crawford, Hunter Goodwin, Macy Crawford, and Ashlee Goodwin; and one great grandchild, Adelynn Jackson.
Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Lon Lorton and Rev. Rob Wilson officiating. Barnett-Strother is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the service time on Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church. Envelopes will be made available.
