Shirley Jean Ruth

Shirley Jean Ruth, 88, of Madisonville, KY passed away Sunday May 19, 2024, at her residence.
She was born September 13, 1935 in Cooter, MO to the late Harold Revelle and Freda Revelle. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Dewayne Revelle.
Shirley was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she served as a Secretary for many years. She loved playing golf, traveling, camping all over the country, watching Cardinal Baseball games, and cooking. Most of all, she loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Harry Ruth of Madisonville; one daughter, Kim (Bill) Plunkett of Madisonville; two sons, Lance (Jane) Ruth of Larkspur, CO and Kerry (Winona) Ruth of Madisonville; six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
