Shirley Ann Sainato

Mrs. Shirley Ann Sainato, 71, of Madisonville, KY, died Thursday, March 29, 2007, at 6:15 A.M. at her residence. \ She was born October 22, 1935, in Akron, OH, to the late Nevil John Hill & Vivian Ann Bennewitz Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother. \ She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Madisonville. \ Mrs. Sainato is survived by her husband, Carl Sainato of Madisonville; a daughter, Carla Ann Davis of Murray, KY; two sons, Paul Martin Sainato of Lexington, KY, and John Adam Sainato of Hanson, KY, and five grandchildren, Lauren Sainato, Nicholas Sainato, Michael Sainato, Hannah Sainato and Rosa Sainato. \ Funeral services will be Monday, April 2, 2007, at 2:00 P.M., at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Gerald Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ A prayer service will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2007, at 5:00 P.M. at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Robert Phillips, Dave Thomas, Mike Downey, Billy Keller, Ken Downey, Stan Green and Scott Deahl. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Patterson, Charles Hamby and Don Clugston. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; the Mahr Cancer Center, 900 Hospital Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431; Christ the King Catholic Church, 1600 Kingsway Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431; or Green River Hospice, 109 Second Street, Central City, KY 42330. \
