Sonja Lynn Adams

Sonja Lynn Adams, 40, of Nortonville, KY passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017.
Sonja was born April 6, 1977 in Muhlenberg Co., KY to Leamon Harper and Kathy Downs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Gray.
She was a loving mother and dedicated wife and an active member of Nortonville Baptist Church. She was the owner and operator of All Occasions Formal Wear and part-time associate at Carhartt. Sonja had a prominent role in beauty pageants at the Local, county, and state-wide level. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, camping, and outdoor activities. She always had a smile on her face and a warm heart to greet you with. She was known by many and loved by all.
She is survived by her husband, Greg Adams of Nortonville; two daughters, Tia N. Adams and Alyssa M. Turner of Nortonville; one son, Logan G. Adams of Nortonville; father and step-mother, Leamon and Kim Harper of Hanson, KY; step-father, Gordon Gray of Nortonville; one brother, Chris Hagood of Benton, KY; grandmother, Dorothy Downs McDougal; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Reno and Bro. Lee Davis officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Adams, Jay Burgett, Michael Majors, Brian Rickard, Jeff Cobb, and Ronnie Cobb.
