Vance Flener

Vance Michael Flener, 23, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville.
He was born March 13, 1998, in Madisonville, to the late Michael Kelley and Michele Riordan Kelley. He was also preceded in death by his mammaw, Brenda Flanigan.
Vance loved to dance, make up raps, play with his kids, and hiking. He loved his family and was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Flener; his mother, Michele Riordan Kelley; his step-mother, Cheri Funkhouser; his daughter, Jasmine Flener of Madisonville; his son, Masyn Flener of Madisonville; his sisters, Chevelle Kelley and Jessica Flener, both of Madisonville; his brother, Matthew Flener of Clay, KY; his papaw, Michael Riordan Sr.; his uncle, Mike Riordan; his aunt, Sheena Riordan; his nieces, Hailey Riordan, Kaylee Belt, Krystalyn Chaney, and three others; and his nephew, Bryce Belt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and from 10:00 P.M. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Riordan, Kody Headen, Jessica Flener, Matt Flener, AJ Groves, and Cheri Funkhouser.
