Wanda Jean Johnson

Wanda Jean Johnson, 76, of Manitou, KY passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
She was born September 29, 1942 in Hopkins County to the late Martin Edward Harris and Hallie King Harris. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Vanona Harris and one grandson, Mark Brandon Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Madisonville where she was also a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class, and Secret Sister Fellowship. She was also a Kentucky Colonel and a Lioness for the Lions Club.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ralph Edward Johnson; two daughters, Kathy (Robert) Gonzalez of Madisonville and Susan (Donnie) Crawford of Madisonville; one son, Mark E. Johnson of Manitou; one sister, Carol (Ronnie) Whitmer of Madisonville; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Tondra Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Micah Hendricks, Ezra Crawford, Chris Crawford, Gary McClead, Cody Byers, and Dustin Russell. Honorary pallbearers Maddox Wilson and Parker Russell.
Memorial Contributions may take the form of donation to the Liberty Church Building
Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
