Willa Dean Lamb

\ Willa Dean Lamb, 77, of Franklin, TN formerly of Madisonville, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. \ She was born August 29, 1935 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Bruce Monroe Lee and Myrtle Dillingham Lee. \ Mrs. Lamb was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She loved people. She was a second mother to hundreds of people thru her husband's ministry. She loved to cook and sew. She also served as a pastor's wife in three states (IN, KY and FL) for over 50 years. \ She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rev. Bobby Gene Lamb of Franklin, TN; one son, Rev. Kellan (Condra) Lamb of Franklin; one brother, Billy (Novella) Lee of Dawson Springs, KY and two grandchildren, Nathan Lamb of Smyrna, TN and Ashley Lamb of Nashville, TN. \ Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Frank Shiver and Dr. Richard Wallace officiating. Music for the funeral service will be provided by the Childress Family of Madisonville and Marcy Kelsey Beckett of the Song Masters. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY. \ Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 12:00 P.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Earl Brown, Stephen Brown, Kenneth Stewart, Heath Cox, Jeff Demoss and Paul Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Larry Rhodes and Rev. Dwight Cox. \
