William Edward Wilson

\ Mr. William Edward Wilson, 85, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Regional Medical Center. \ \ He was born August 20, 1927 in Greenville, KY to the late Grant and Jennie Mae McManaway Wilson. He was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Wilson. \ \ Mr. Wilson was a mining engineer having worked with several Kentucky mining companies throughout his career. He was also a member of the VFW, the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers, and volunteered with the Hopkins County Historical Society. \ \ He is survived by his wife, Billie Jane Faulk Wilson of Madisonville; two daughters, Ava Wilson of Madisonville and Maria (Jimmy) Duff of Brownsville, KY; one son, Brett (Devela) Wilson of Fort Worth, TX; two sisters, Nell Bowles of Hopkins County and Lois Jean Jones of AL.; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Rachel Nance Woehler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ \ Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. \ \ Pallbearers will be Logan Wilson, Jimmy Duff, Dean Jenkins, Ashley McKnight, Toby Roberts, and Eric Nance Woehler. Memorial donations may be made to Hopkins County Historical Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \
