Willie Mae Mathews Brown

Mrs. Willie Mae Mathews Brown, 87, of Providence, KY, died at 3:32 A.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville. \ Born January 26, 1919 in Hopkins Co., KY. She was the daughter of William Roy Robards and Flavie Franklin Robards. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Noble Mathews in 1959 and Raymond Lee Brown on December 12, 2005 and one brother, James Albert Robards. \ Surviving are one son, James Mathews of Dawson Springs, KY; three stepdaughters, Anna Cain of Nebo, Ky, Jerald Jeri Cotton of Dawson Springs and Virginia Bolen of Louisville; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Mr. Chris Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs. \ Pallbearers will be Jimmy Miller, Verlan Moore, Charles Robards, Garnett Buntin, Brad Bolen and Chris Bolen. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after Noon Thursday. \ \
